From calving barns to corporate campuses.
We've seen it all.
Cybertek started installing camera systems for cattle producers who needed eyes on their heifers at 3am. That experience taught us what a reliable surveillance system actually needs to do: work without drama, in the worst conditions, for people who have more important things to worry about.
Two systems. One team.
Fully integrated.
Surveillance cameras and door access control aren't separate projects — they're two layers of the same physical security posture. We design, install, and support both.
Commercial Camera Systems
High-definition surveillance with remote viewing from your phone, tablet, or laptop. Our primary camera platform is entirely license-free — no per-camera fees, no recurring subscriptions, ever. Designed for businesses that need clear footage, easy clip retrieval, and a system that just works.
- License-free — no per-camera fees, no recurring subscriptions
- Fixed and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras
- Indoor and outdoor, all weather ratings
- Local NVR storage — your footage stays on-site
- Mobile app access — view live or recorded from anywhere
- Scalable — add cameras to an existing system anytime
- Agricultural, commercial, education, and healthcare installs
Door Access Control
Know who entered, when, and where — and take away access with a single tap. Keycard, fob, or PIN-based systems for commercial buildings, multi-location campuses, and high-security zones.
- Keycard, key fob, and PIN entry options
- Per-door, per-user access scheduling
- Full audit log — every door, every entry, timestamped
- Remote lockout and access granting
- Integrates with your camera system for visual verification
- Campus-wide multi-door installations
Every environment is different.
Every install is custom.
Agriculture
Calving barn systems, ranch monitoring, grain bin cameras, and remote access for operators who can't always be on-site. License-free — no recurring per-camera fees draining your operating budget every year. This is where Cybertek started, and we know what works in South Dakota weather.
Commercial & Retail
Loss prevention, employee safety, parking lot coverage, and after-hours monitoring. Full-building systems for businesses of any size in Winner and across the region.
Education
Campus-wide camera and access control systems for K–12 schools and higher education. License-free hardware means no per-camera subscriptions chewing through your annual budget. Entry control, visitor management, and the documentation your administration needs for safety compliance.
Healthcare
Securing restricted areas, monitoring high-value equipment, and controlling access to medication storage, server rooms, and patient areas — with documentation that supports your compliance posture.
We've tried dozens of brands.
We keep coming back to one.
Over the years, Cybertek has installed and maintained systems from a long list of manufacturers. We've settled on a primary camera platform that consistently wins on three things: reliability, customer experience, and total cost of ownership.
The cameras are solid. The NVR is reliable. The app is so intuitive that our 70-year-old rancher clients figure it out on their own, without a training call. When clients rarely call back for help, that's the measure of success.
The other reason we keep coming back: the platform is entirely license-free. No per-camera fees, no recurring subscriptions, no ransom note when renewal time rolls around. The hardware you buy is the hardware you own.
For higher-security applications — detention facilities, government buildings, or installs with specific certification requirements — we work with enterprise-grade platforms tailored to the certification at hand.
We will never recommend a system because of a manufacturer rebate. We recommend what actually works for the customer in front of us.
License-Free Primary Platform
Our primary platform for commercial, agricultural, and education installs. Outstanding app, reliable hardware, and zero per-camera licensing fees — ever.
Enterprise & Specialty
For high-security installations with specific certification or durability requirements. We're platform-agnostic — we use what the job calls for.
No pressure. No surprises.
No buyer's remorse.
You'll get a clear scope of work, a fair quote, and the time to make the right decision on your own.
Scope & Quote
Tell us what you need. We'll provide a detailed scope of work: camera counts, placement, hardware specs, and pricing. No follow-up harassment — if you want it, you'll reach out.
Deposit & Order
50% deposit to start. We order hardware the same day the estimate is approved. Hardware is on-site within seven days. Nothing moves until money does — no exceptions.
Install & Train
We show up on the scheduled date with everything we need. Installation, configuration, and a hands-on walkthrough. We don't leave until you're confident.
As-Built Handoff
Every project closes with an as-built document: camera map, wiring paths, equipment serial numbers, and a quick-start guide. You own the documentation.
Physical security and cybersecurity
are the same conversation.
Most businesses think of cameras and access control as a facilities issue. Most think of firewalls and endpoint protection as an IT issue. They're both wrong.
There are two disciplines that govern security for any organization: Information Technology (IT) — the logical controls that protect your data and network — and Operational Technology (OT) — the physical controls that govern access to spaces, equipment, and people.
Cybertek is one of the few firms in this region that handles both disciplines under one roof — meaning your IT security and your physical security are designed to work together, not in isolation.
Logical Security
Firewalls, EDR, identity management, cloud security, compliance documentation.
Physical Security
Camera systems, door access control, physical audit logs, restricted area monitoring.
One firm. Both disciplines.
Your physical security and cybersecurity are designed together, documented together, and supported by the same team.
The calf that paid for the whole system.
The U.S. cattle herd is at its smallest in recorded history. Every live calf is worth $3,000 or more — and that number is only going up. Our agricultural clients have one consistent story: the camera system paid for itself the first season, the first time they caught a calf in distress at 2am that they would have missed otherwise.
That's why we started in the calving barn. The math is undeniable.
